Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports celebrates 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit and 62nd anniversary of its establishment
(BNP) - On December 14, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports celebrated the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to the school (December 14, 1961 - 2021) and 62nd anniversary of its establishment (1959 - 2021).
Leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial People's Committee and the delegates take a photo with the school’s officials and teachers.
Participants at the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong; Deputy General Director in charge of General Department of Sports and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Tran Duc Phan; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tu Son city and many generations of school officials and students over the years.
Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports, formerly known as the Central Intermediate School of Physical Education and Sports, was established on September 25, 1959. After 2 years of establishment, on December 14, 1961, the school was honored to welcome Uncle Ho to visit. Deepen Uncle Ho’s teachings, generations of teachers and students strived to overcome all difficulties, set up many achievements in learning and training.
After nearly 62 years of construction and development, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports has now become a key university of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, gradually affirming its position and prestige in training high-quality sports personnel; fostering talents. On the other hand, the school also performed well the training tasks, staff, teachers and students; actively participated in the implementation of the country's political tasks and social movements.
With these achievements, the school was honored to be awarded many noble medals by the Party and State, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Many individuals and collectives received the title of National Emulation Soldier, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial People's Committee.
