Bac Ninh wins 11 medals at 2023 National Boxing Championship

Bac Ninh ranks second in the whole age group 19 - 40 years old.

The tournament attracted the participation of 324 athletes from 36 provinces, cities and industries nationwide. Athletes competed in two age groups, including: 17 - 18 years old and 19 - 40 years old.

Bac Ninh delegation had 17 athletes participating, competed in 2 age groups, won 3 Gold Medals and 8 Bronze Medals. Among them, 3 Gold Medals belonged to athletes: Nguyen Van Duong (57 kg); Nguyen Manh Cuong (86 kg); Nguyen Duy Quang (92 kg). With this achievement, the Bac Ninh delegation ranked second in the entire 19 - 40 age group.

This is the highest national boxing tournament. It is an opportunity to evaluate the athlete training of localities and units as well as select bright faces for the national team.
