Bac Ninh wins 7 medals at 2023 National Karate Championship
(BNP) - The 32nd National Karate Championship in 2023 took place from October 16 - 22 in Lang Son.
Bac Ninh athletes on podium receive gold medal in Kumite team content group 1.
The tournament attracted 406 athletes from 38 units, provinces, cities and sectors nationwide. Athletes competed in 5 Kata contents and 25 Kumite contents to compete for 30 sets of medals.
The Bac Ninh Karate team include 14 athletes (10 men, 4 women) participating and winning 7 medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze medals), ranking 12/38 in the whole team. Male athletes won a gold medal in Kumite team content group 1; athlete Nguyen Van Nhat won a silver medal (70kg category); athletes winning bronze medals were: Ha Quoc Viet (58kg), Nguyen Phuong Thao (47kg), Nguyen Dang Chien (54kg), Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc (56kg) and male teammates group 2.
