Badminton tournament for the best players to compete Cup of Bac Ninh Television and Radio Station 2018

(BNP) – Within 2 days from 11th to 12th May, at provincial gymnasium, Bac Ninh Badminton Federation in collaboration with Bac Ninh Television and Radio Station held a badminton tournament for the best players at all age groups competing Cup of Bac Ninh Television and Radio Station in 2018.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Huu Thanh, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Quoc Chung, Chairman of Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, Chairman of Provincial Badminton Federation, Nguyen Hanh Chung, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; and leader of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Bac Ninh Television and Radio Station.

The competition of the year with participation of nearly 200 athletes representing 18 state bodies, businesses in the province competing 11 medal groups is categorized at 04 age groups including U30 (competing at contents of man single, men double, women double, mixed double), U40, U50 (competing at contents of men double, women double, mixed double), and U60 (competing at men double).

Organizers awards prizes to athletes

For 240 matches taken place in 2 days, athletes joined the competition dramatically with their high determination and devoted audiences very good matches with their professional skills, particularly in semi-final and final matches. Organization Board awarded 01st, 02nd, 03rd prizes to best badminton players and Cup to those who won 01st prize at each category.

The badminton tournament for the best players at all age groups competing Cup of Bac Ninh Television and Radio Station in 2018 is one of very meaningful sport activities to welcome 128th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh. Furthermore, it is an occasion to evaluate and acknowledge movement of practicing and playing badminton at state bodies, businesses and localities, and to offer athletes chances to exchange working experiences, contributing to well fulfilling political and professional missions in units, to boosting movement of “all the people do physical exercise following great Uncle Ho’s example”.
