In 2020, whole hamlet has over 100 households, in which has 40 direct production households, created for over 200 labors. Products are mainly distributed in such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Hung Yen province markets and some southern provinces.
Handicraft products made in Binh Cau include Buddha statues, horizontal lacquered panel, lacquered board with symmetrical sentences, altars, set of 8 weapons, books… Favorite special features of Binh Cau handicraft furniture products is the color of gold lacquer on the kinds of woods including menghundor, jackfruit, canary… which, accoding to folklore, are considered well spirited woods and pain absorbing. Based on the traditional patterns, artisans of the craft village have created several models, designs, patterns which are delicate and sharp with different sizes. There products are used not only for decorating the space of worship more dighified, warm but also showing the respect of descen-dants with their ancestor in accordance with the tradition “Think of the man who planted the tree”.
