Celebrating 100th anniversary of birth of Le Quang Dao and announcing Resolution on establishment of Tu Son city
(BNP) - On the evening of October 31, the Central Committee of the Party, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province solemnly hled the 100th anniversary of birth of Le Quang Dao (August 8, 1921 - 2021) and announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Tu Son city.

Leaders of Bac Ninh province at the ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Dao Hong Lan; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quc Chung; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; leaders and former leaders of the province through the periods; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee; leaders of Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Deleatin of National Assembly; revolutionary veteran comrades, Heroic Mother of Vietnam, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Hero of Labor; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, mass organizations, districts, town and cityin in the province; comrade Le Quang Dao's family and clan; representatives from strata of people in Tu Son town.
In the Commemorative Speech, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that the 100th anniversary of birth of Le Quang Dao is an opportunity for us to commemorate his great activities and contributions to to the Vietnamese revolution.
With 78 years of life and more than 60 years of revolutionary activities, he was assigned many different responsibilities by the Party and State. In any position, regardless of the circumstances, he always set a shining example of devotion, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland, serving the people, striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges to overcome all difficulties and challenges as well as successfully complete all assigned tasks.
At the ceremony, Hue handed over the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Tu Son city in Bac Ninh province from November 1, 2021. Accordingly, Tu Son city was established on the basis of the entire 61.08 km2 of natural area and population size of 202,874 people and 12 wards of Tu Son town today.
Secretary Dao Hong Lan asked the Tu Son’s Party Committee, government and people of Tu to build a program and master plan for the city's development, thereby making Tu Son become an economic, industrial and service center, playing the role of driving force in promoting the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province; creaing the best living environment for the people as well as building the face of Tu Son urban area which is dynamic, modern and rich in cultural identity.
Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Tu Son City People's Council Le Xuan Loi received the direction of the National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the Secretary Dao Hong Lan on the construction and development of Tu Son city.
