Chairman of Provincial People's Committee requests to implement the task of preserving and promoting heritage value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksong

(BNP) - In the Document no. 5090/UBND-KGVX, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Construction, the Management Board of Bac Ninh Urban Development to coordinate and deploy the task of conservation and promotion of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksong heritage.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build mechanisms and policies to support funds for the villages of the original families, the Quan Ho clubs inside and outside the province, their artisans and people with meritorious contributions in preserving and promoting the values of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksong as well as coordinating to build the Master Plan on building Quan Ho’s cultural space. The Chairman urged relevant units to select logo, symbol of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksong, cultural characteristics, typical village products of Bac Ninh with an aim to creating the highlight to develop tourism.

Besides, the units continued speeding up the implementation of projects of preserving and promoting the value of Quan Ho folksong under the approved decision before January 31st, 2019.

 The Chairman further urged the Department of Construction to review the planning of cultural space of “Thủy Tổ Quan Họ” (Bac Ninh city); cultural space of Lim hill (Tien Du district); the plans related to the preservation and promotion of the value of Quan Ho heritage in the province…
