Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan attends launching ceremony of “Tree Planting Festival” in Thuan Thanh town

Also attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and leaders of relevant departments and sectors.

In recent years, the tree planting movement has become a beautiful feature of every Tet and Spring occasion of the people in Thuan Thanh town, thereby, contributing to improving environmental quality, creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape. In 2024, the town planted more than 43,000 new trees and scattered trees of all kinds.

By 2025, the town strives to plant 40,000 new trees of all kinds in historical and cultural sites; on roadsides, sidewalks, traffic corridors; public places; farms, households; industrial parks and clusters, urban areas, protection areas... At the same time, it will care for and protect the planted tree area to develop the economy in conjunction with preserving the living environment.

At the ceremony, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan and leaders of the province and Thuan Thanh town planted trees in the green strip project area in the West of Luy Lau Cultural Center, Ho ward.

During the “Tree Planting Festival” campaign in 2025 At Ty Spring, the town planted about 1,000 trees of all kinds.
