Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang receives and works with DAEWOO E&C Group (Korea)
(BNP) - On June 15, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang had a meeting and work with a delegation of DAEWOO E&C Group (Group) led by Mr. Ahn Kuk-jin, Chairman and General Director of the Group.

Giang gave a welcome speech and briefly introduced some information about the province’s socio-economic development. Thanks to the favorable geographical position and attractive incentives, Bac Ninh has become a province with fast socio-economic development with many indicators in the top of the country. The province now has attracted more than 1,700 FDI projects from 38 countries and territories with a total investment capital of nearly USD 23 billion. In particular, Korea is the leading country in terms of the number of projects and investment capital.
On the other hand, Bac Ninh is also interested in implementing and attracting investment projects in new urban areas, meeting the criteria of centrally run cities. Giang hoped that Bac Ninh province and DAEWOO E&C Group will strengthen the relationship of cooperation, long-term attachment, and mutual development in the coming time.
Ahn Kuk-jin expressed his delight at the warm welcome of the provincial leaders. He said that DAEWOO E&C Group was established in 1967, operating in the field of infrastructure investment and buildings and energy. The Group has been implementing a number of projects in Vietnam such as: Starlake Tay Ho Tay urban area, Daeha Trade Center Complex with Daeha Business Center office, Daewoo Hanoi hotel…
He wished to receive the attention and create favorable conditions from the leaders of the province as well as departments, branches and sectors. He also affirmed that with the experience and success in developing urban projects in Vietnam over the past time, DAEWOO E&C Group will promote its achievements and contribute to the overall development of Bac Ninh province in the coming time.
