Conference on preparation work for inspecting Man Xa industrial cluster held

Overview of the conference.

Man Xa handicraft village currently has 77 production facilities, all of which have no environmental records or procedures, no environmental licenses or environmental registration. They only build or install chimneys and discharge the gas directly into the environment, without measures to collect and treat dust and exhaust gas according to regulations. The solid and hazardous waste are dumped into surrounding areas, without signing contracts and transferring them to units with the function of collection, transportation, and treatment.

During the conference, the team members discussed and set out situations arising during the implementation process, discussed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, and determined to successfully handle environmental pollution in Man Xa handicraft village. Specifically, they agreed to establish inspection teams, made a plan to conduct inspections, create general reports and separate them for each field of violation to handle according to regulations.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Pham Van Luong decided to establish 4 inspection teams. The Office of the Provincial People’s Committee completed the document and reported to its Chairman to issue a Decision to complete the team members in compliance with regulations.

Departments, sectors, localities and affiliated offices need to research the records of each facility in each field for the inspection, put necessary information in advance in the inspection minutes so that the teams can save time but still ensure the planned content, purpose and requirements.
