Department of Education and Training celebrates 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day
(BNP) - On November 19, the Department of Education and Training (DET) held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - 2024).

Delegates at the ceremony were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; representatives from the provincial departments and branches.

At the ceremony, Director of Department of Education and Training Nguyen The Son emphasized that in recent times, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh has made many efforts in education, personality development, and moral education for the younger generation, thereby helping to develop people, improve people's knowledge, and contribute to the province's socioeconomic development. Many positive results in educational quality have served to strengthen Bac Ninh Education and Training's status in the region and across the country. Specifically, for three consecutive years, Bac Ninh ranked first and second in the National Excellent Student Competition and all students participated in regional and international competitions and won prizes. From 2021 to present, there have been 17 students participating in the competition and winning medals, including 7 students who won international medals (including 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals), leading all provinces and cities nationwide in the number of medals won...

The team of managers and teachers at all levels has been gradually consolidated, satisfying the quantity requirements while also synchronizing the structure and standardizing the quality. The teaching staff is more proactive and creative, students are more confident, and the modes of teaching, testing, and assessment have been substantially changed in the direction of "systematic teaching - serious testing - real quality".

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Le Xuan Loi acknowledged, praised and congratulated the proud achievements of all cadres and teachers of the Education and Training sector. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions of teachers and managers of the sector to the cause of "growing people" over the past 42 years.

In the coming time, the Vice Chairman requested the Education and Training sector to continue to strive to maintain and sustain the achievements; strictly implement the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and documents of the Provincial People's Committee on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of Education and Training. The teaching staff constantly self-study, improve their qualifications, skills, and self-improvement to meet the increasingly high demands of modern education as well as imparting and connecting knowledge, inspiring and arousing the desire to contribute to generations of students, contributing to the development of the province's education and training career, Loi added.
On this occasion, many teachers with outstanding achievements in emulation movements received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
