Generally, the industrial production index in May increased by 6.2% over the previous month and 0.4% year-on-year. In particular, manufacturing and processing industry increased by 6.2% and 0.4%; electricity production and distribution industry,... increased by 0.5% and 8%; water supply and wastewater management activities increased by 13.8% and 3.2%.
In the manufacturing and processing industry, there are 12 of 20 sectors with indexes increased compared to the previous month. In particular, some industries have high growth index, such as producing beverages; costume production; print, copy records; rubber products. In particular, the industry of manufacturing electronic products, computers, and optical products with the largest proportion increased by 6.4%.
