Labor Confederation of Tien Du district responds to “Ao dai week 2024”
(BNP) - On the occasion of the 114th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8, 1910 - 2024) and the 1984th anniversary of the Trưng Sisters’ Uprising, the Labor Confederation of Tien Du district directed the Grassroots trade unions to mobilize female official, civil servants, employees and workers to respond to “Ao dai week” among agencies and units.

In response to “Ao dai week”, the grassroots trade unions in Tien Du district have mobilized 100% of female officials in agencies and units responding to “Ao dai week” to wear ao dai to offices and workplaces during the week from March 1 to March 8, 2024. Female officials, civil servants, employees and workers keep wearing ao dai during the working days, in conferences and events of the unit, locality, homeland and country, as well as in family and community events with the aim to spread the beauty of Ao dai, thereby, promoting the propagation and honor of “Ao dai - Vietnamese cultural heritage” in 2024.
The grassroots trade unions also organize for female officials, civil servants, employees and workers of the unit to have a beautiful Ao dai photo contest. At the same time, they promote the propagation activities of “Ao dai week” about the meaning and value of Ao dai in social life. As a result, the beauty of Ao Dai will be honored, awakening love, pride, and responsibility to preserve and promote the value of Vietnamese Ao dai heritage.
