Wellness practices exchange for elderly clubs in 2024 kicks off
(BNP) - On March 2, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center square, the Representative Board of the Provincial Association of the Elderly organized an exchange program of wellness practices for the elderly clubs in Bac Ninh province in 2024.

In recent years, in response to the campaign “All people exercise following the great Uncle Ho’s example”, the movement of physical training and sports, especially wellness practice among the elderly in the province, has developed widely. The wellness practice clubs for the elderly have gradually been established and developed, becoming a “common home” for the elderly to exercise and have useful exchanges.
This year’s program attracted nearly 2,500 members from the elderly wellness practice clubs of 8 districts, towns and cities in the province. The province jointly performed 04 songs including: 8 basic movements with short sticks; Healthy for the country; Song of the Elderly; Head to Hanoi.
In addition, there were also response performances such as: the opening performance of Thang Long Flag and Drum Dance with the title “Dance of Triumph, celebrating the Party and Spring, welcoming the New Year”; elective wellness practice performances by the units.
The program aims to propagandize and mobilize the elderly to respond to the campaign “All people exercise following the great Uncle Ho’s example”. At the same time, it is a useful playground to help the elderly interact, exchange and spread the spirit of health training. It also promotes the growing sports movement among the elderly in particular and the people in general.
