More than 250 athletes participate in Cross-country Running Tournament "Together with Sacombank running for community health"

Provincial leaders give souvenir flag to units participating in the Tournament.

Attending the Tournament were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nguyen Tien Nhuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Phung Duc Chien, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization; members of Permanent Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors along with 500 students from Secondary school and High school in Bac Ninh city.

Cross-country Running Tournament "Together with Sacombank running for community health" is an activity to respond and promote the movement "All people practice exercise following the example of our Great Uncle Ho” as well as create a useful playground and encourage youths in the province to actively participate in physical training and sports for good health, learning and labor. This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Bac Ninh and 15^th anniversary of establishment of Sacombank - Bac Ninh Branch (September 25^th, 2003 – 2018).

The tournament this year attracted 256 athletes who are students of secondary schools and high schools from 8 districts, town and city in the province. The athletes compete in four categories including boys' 3000m; girl’s 2,500m; boy’s 5,000m and girl’s 3,000m.

The Organizing Board awards the first, second and third prize to teams.

Finished the tournament, the Organizing Board awarded 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 8 consolation prizes for winners. Yen Phong district ranked first, followed by Que Vo district - the second, Gia Binh district and Thuan Thanh district - the third and Bac Ninh city, Tien Du district, Luong Tai district and Tu Son town – the consolation.
