National Men's and Women's Boxing Championships in 2021 opens

Leaders of Vietnam Boxing Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism present souvenir flags to the delegations.

The 2021 National Men's and Women's Boxing Championships will take place from November 29 to December 6, 2021 at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium with the participation of 311 athletes from 25 provinces and cities and the sectors nationwide.

Participating in the tournament, athletes competed in 2 age groups of men and women including the 17-18 years old group and the 19-40 years old group. Among which, the men competition has 14 weight classes; the women competed in 13 weight classes.

Bac Ninh boxing team sent 18 athletes to participate in the tournament, aiming to be in the top. In it, there were the presence of the top boxers of the provincial boxing team as well as the national team such as Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Pham Duc Doan, Ngo Thi Thuy, Nguyen Van Duyet...

Through the tournament to evaluate the level, capacity, ability to compete and detect and select excellent Boxing athletes to join the national team for training and fostering to participate in international tournaments. In particular, the hosting of the Tournament in Bac Ninh is also an opportunity to review the preparation for the organization of a number of subjects in the 31st SEA Games program in Bac Ninh; at the same time, contributing to promoting the image, culture and people of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac with domestic and international friends.
