Nearly 300 teens and children attend Bac Ninh Open Rapid Chess Tournament

The Organizing Committee awards the prizes to U10 age group with excellent achievement.

Bac Ninh Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2018 attracted nearly 300 teens and children aged 5 – 14 of 20 Chess Clubs from provinces and cities in the North such as Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Bac Giang...

The athletes competed in 2 categories including men’s individual and women’s individual in the age group U5 - U10 and U11 - 14 in the form of fast chess seven games (time for each game from 20 - 40 minutes).

After a hectic day of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded Cup to 15 best athletes of each age group as well as the second, the third and the consolation prizes to the athletes at the tournament.

Bac Ninh Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2018 is the tournament for children having passion with chess. Through this tournament, the Organizing Committee hoped that the children have an opportunity to exchange and share their experiences, thereby, building a long-term intellectual, healthy and useful playground, contributing to the comprehensive development of both intellectual and physical for teens and children in the province.
