Nearly 5,000 people visit the 6th exhibition of "The typical artifact of Bac Ninh province"

(BNP) - On February 28, the Kinh Bac Association of Collecting and Researching Antique in collaboration with the Provincial Museum reviewed the 6th exhibition of "The typical artifact of Bac Ninh province" and presented gifts to victims of Agent Orange and disabled people in the province.

Taken place from February 20 to 28, the 6th exhibition of "The typical artifact of Bac Ninh province" introduced over 600 typical antiquities of over 40 researchers, collectors, in which, many antiques are very valuable such as Dong Son bronze drum; pottery of the Ly, Tran and Le dynasties,... After more than a week, the exhibition welcomed nearly 5,000 visitors including many international delegations and other provinces.

At this event, the Organizers received and successfully auctioned 9 antiques with the amount of VND 60 million to donate 60 Agent Orange victims and the disabled people in the province, helping them to gain more motivation to overcome difficulties in life. In addition, the Provincial Museum also received 10 precious artifacts, which are donated by collectors, thereby, enriching the artifacts system at the Museum, and preserving and promoting the heritage value of the homeland, the country.

The 6th exhibition of "The typical artifact of Bac Ninh province" is in the series of activities to respond to the Festival of "Arrive in Quan Ho land 2019" and the 10th anniversary of Quan Ho folk songs honored as the Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
