Nhu Nguyet communal house
(BNP) - Nhu Nguyet communal house is located in the north of Nhu Nguyet village, Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district, about 100m from Nhu Nguyet wharf. The communal house is an ancient architectural work with a plan of the shape of Chinese “Cong” letter. During the resistance war against the French, the communal house was completely destroyed. When peace is restored, the locality built a small communal house to worship the tutelary god. In 1994, the present house was built on the old foundation.

Currently, Nhu Nguyet communal house has a Chinese “Dinh” letter with 3 compartments, 2 lean-tons, 4 curved roofs and 2-compartment Emperor’s harem.

Nhu Nguyet communal house worships Saint Tam Giang, who had great merit in repelling the invaders of the Luong Dynasty in the 6th century.

The main festival of the village is held on the 12th day of the 9th lunar month.
Nhu Nguyet Communal House was ranked as a historical and cultural relic by the Provincial People's Committee according to Decision No. 1626/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2012.
