Opening of film screenings to celebrate 79th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day 2024
(BNP) - On August 28, at the Cultural House of Khuc Xuyen ward (Bac Ninh city), the Provincial Cultural Center held the opening of a film to celebrate the film screenings to celebrate 79th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2024).

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 2024, the Provincial Cultural Center will organize the premiere of films: Feature film "915"; Documentary films "Ho Chi Minh with the journey of Independence, Freedom and Happiness", "Lawyer Vu Trong Khanh", "Once a life"; Cartoon "Hero of Tan Mountain" at a number of party cells, party committees, and schools in the province from August 16 to September 4.
During the opening ceremony, the Provincial Cultural Center screened the documentary film "Ho Chi Minh with the journey of Independence, Freedom and Happiness" produced by the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio.
With vivid documents, realistic and humanistic scenes, the film has deeply analyzed and clarified Ho Chi Minh's aspiration for independence, freedom and happiness and his journey to gradually realize that aspiration in the practice of the Vietnamese revolution. It is also the journey of our nation to greater and greater victories on the road of national independence associated with socialism.
The film aims to affirm the great position, stature and great historical value of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the history of the nation's struggle to build and preserve the country; affirm the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh for the cause of national liberation, national construction and defense; strengthen the people's trust in the leadership of the Party. Through propaganda work to educate patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the tradition of solidarity, resilience and indomitability in the struggle for national independence and national reunification as well as in the process of building and defending the Fatherland for cadres, Party members and the whole People.
