Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee enjoys art performance of Quan ho singing on the boat

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Yen Phong district and a great number of people loving Bac Ninh Quan họ folksongs.

At program, male and female singers Quan ho clubs of Yen Phong district brought 15 very featured and impressive Quan ho performances to the audience such as “Trăng thanh gió mát”, “Dọn quán bán hàng”, “Ngồi tự mạn thuyền”, “Giữa tối hôm rằm”, “Con nhện răng mùng… Through the smooth Quan ho’s rhythms and lyrics have helped many people, especially the young generation, understand more about the origin, cultural customs, the way, rules of traditionally Quan ho singing as well as costumes, how to play Quan ho of Kinh Bac people.

This is a practical activity to keep moving the project of "Conservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage of Quan ho folk songs and Ca tru in the period of 2013-2020" by the Provincial People's Committee.

Together with art performance of Quan ho singing on the boat, people and visitors also participated in street activities to find ancient tradition such as street music performances and folk games including, jumping rope, bamboo dancing…

Through 2 times, the program has created a great attraction and spread, creating a playground for community cultural activities for the clubs, male and female singers and all classes of people in the area to save, learn and cultivate love for folk songs, contributing to preserving, promoting and making intangible cultural heritage Bac Ninh folk songs developed and long-lived.
