Program "Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Dong Ho Colors" takes place from March 29 - 30 in Hanoi city

Space for performing and experiencing Dong Ho folk paintings at Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center (Thuan Thanh town).

According to the Plan, the Program will take place from March 29 to March 30, 2025 at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking space (Ba Kieu Temple flower garden area and vicinity), Hanoi city. The opening is expected to be at 20:00 on March 29, 2025.

The whole exhibition space consists of 20 areas for showing, performing, experiencing traditional crafts, and promoting Bac Ninh tourism, including space for displaying and demonstrating the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings "The quintessence of Bac Ninh culture - Dong Ho colors"; space for performing, experiencing, and displaying products of Phu Lang traditional craft villages of pottery, Xuan Hoi bamboo and rattan weaving, Dai Bai bronze casting, Phu Khe and Dong Ky fine art wood, Dong Ho clay statue making, Bac Ninh Province Calligraphy Club; space for introducing OCOP products.  At the same time, a room is being designed for the performance of Bac Ninh Quan Ho traditional tunes.

The program "Bac Ninh cultural quintessence - Dong Ho colors" is an activity to continue to mobilize and promote Dong Ho folk paintings to nominate UNESCO to recognize the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings as an intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection; continue to promote and introduce the heritage of Quan Ho folk songs and typical traditional folk art forms of Bac Ninh province; traditional craft village products, OCOP products, traditional specialties "Quan Ho hometown gifts". This is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh tourism to connect and exchange with the capital Hanoi and regions across the country, attracting and increasing the number of domestic and international tourists to the capital Hanoi and to Bac Ninh.
