Provincial leaders attend 2024 military handover ceremony in localities

(BNP) - Joining the exciting atmosphere of National Armed Forces Day, on February 25, nearly 2,000 young people in the province enthusiastically enlisted in Army units and performed their duties as People's Police. Provincial leaders attended the military handover ceremony in localities and encouraged new recruits to enthusiastically defend the Fatherland.

*In Gia Binh district, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, and leaders of relevant departments and branches as well as Gia Binh district attended the ceremony.

In 2024, Gia Binh district has 174 citizens enlisting in the army.

At the ceremony, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan and leaders of the province, party committees, and local authorities presented flowers, congratulated, and encouraged new recruits to join the army.

*In Que Vo town, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Major General Hoang Van Huu, Deputy Commander of the 1st Military Region; Colonel Nghiem Dinh Trung, Commander of the Provincial Military Command attended the ceremony and encouraged new recruits to join the army.

In this year’s recruitment, Que Vo town has 318 citizens enlisting in the army.

This year, Tien Du district has 265 outstanding youths enlisting in the army.

With the honor and pride of protecting the Fatherland, the representatives from new recruits promised to actively study, train, and strive to overcome all difficulties, successfully complete the mission, and be worthy of the traditions of their homeland and previous generations.

This year, Thuan Thanh town has 302 outstanding youths enlisting in the army.

In 2024, Luong Tai district has 178 new recruits enlisting in the army. All of them have a strong political ideological stance, good moral qualities, culture, health, and ensure military recruitment standards according to regulations.

In 2024, Tu Son city has 205 citizens enlisting in the army to perform the military service.

*In Yen Phong district, Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization; Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of the Provincial Public Security attended the ceremony and encouraged new recruits to join the army.

In 2024, Yen Phong district has 264 new recruits enlisting in the army.
