Provincial leaders attend handover ceremony to encourage recruits to join army in 2023 in localities

(BNP) - On February 6, more than 1,800 young people from localities throughout Bac Ninh set off to perform their obligations to join the People's Public Security in 2023. Provincial leaders attended ceremonies to bid farewell to the newly-drafted soldiers.

In 2023, Thuan Thanh district has 287 elite youths joining the army and the People's Public Security Forces. Among which, 92 have volunteered for military service. The recruits returned to accept duties at the following units: the Division 3 - Military Region I; Division 361, 26 Brigade, Air Force Viet Nam-Air Defense; 144 Brigade (the General Staff); the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection High Command; the Military Honour Guard Battalion and Bac Ninh Province’s Public Security.

Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan and relevant leaders presented flowers and gave words of encouragement to the recruits. He told them to keep firm faith and strong will to fulfil their tasks as soldiers and expressed his belief that the young men would strive to become heroic citizens of the province.

This year, Bac Ninh city has 200 citizens enlisted in the army, of which, 170 citizens enlisted in the Army, 30 citizens were recruited for public security service, belonging to the following units: 304Division, 2nd Army Corps; 312th Division, 1st Army Corps; 3 Division, 1st Military Region; 113rd Brigade, Special Forces Army; 144Brigade, General Staff Department; the Military Honour Guard Battalion; 26th Brigade, Air Defense Force; Provincial Public Security.

In 2023, Tu Son city has 220 citizens set off to perform military service and People's Public Security. In which, 171 citizens wrote to volunteer to join the army; 66 citizens with college and university degrees; 48 joined the Party before beginning their time in the army…

This year, Gia Binh district has 161 outstanding young men enlisting in the army (Army: 135, Public Security: 26). Of which, 73 young people wrote to volunteer to join the army; 40 joined the Party before beginning their time in the army, 7 recruits had college and university degrees.

Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai and leaders of departments, branches and localities presented flowers, visited and encouraged the new recruits, hoping they would strive to fulfill their assigned tasks.

In 2023, Tien Du district has 250 recruits to join the army (220 citizens join the Army, 30 citizens join the People's Police service). In which, 200 have volunteered for military service; 55 outstanding youth union members and youths were trained in Party awareness.

In 2023, Que Vo district has 302 elite youths joining the army, of which 267 recruits join the military service and 35 recruits perform the People's Public Security service.

Luong Tai district has 165 recruits to enlist in the Army and People's Public Security. In which, 30 recruits have university and college degrees; 67 have volunteered for military service and 46 joined the Party before beginning their time in the army. The recruits all have a strong political ideological stance, good ethical qualities, ensure the recruitment standards according to regulations.

In 2023, Yen Phong district has 250 recruits to enlist in the army. In which, there are 220 recruits to perform military service and 30 recruits to join the People's Public Security force; 108 new recruits write a volunteer application to join the army...

The recruits all have a strong political ideological stance, good ethical qualities, ensure the recruitment standards according to regulations.
