Provincial library introduces new multilingual children's reading channel

Let's Read aims to introduce readers to abundant book resources to set up reading habits for children from an early age with the important people in their lives, thereby increasing knowledge as well as forming and developing their intelligence and personality.

Let's Read is within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the National Library of Vietnam and the Asia Foundation on implementing the program to sponsor English books for libraries in Vietnam, period 2017-2022. From 2018 until now, the Let's Read project has been implemented in 20 countries in Asia. Vietnam is one of the countries with many activities such as book creation, book translation, skill development, organizing activities recommended reading, etc.

Currently, the Let's Read has over 2,000 books in about 20 different languages, including Vietnamese. The books are divided into 6 levels with 15 different topics including Science Books, Adventure, Art, Jokes, Novels; typical works of world literature; books for improvement of foreign language skills.
