(BNP) - The Nguyen Ngo family's ancestral house was built in the 20th century. Through the ups and downs of history, the temple has undergone many renovations, especially in 2011, when it underwent a large-scale renovation.


 

The ancestral house is a place to worship ancestors, great scholars and Confucian scholars of the family. Currently, the temple still preserves the main items: the gate, the Tien duong (Front hall) and Hau duong (Back hall).


 

In front of the relic is a large lake, surrounded by green stone embankments.


 

The main gate in front of the ancestral house was built on a large scale.


 

The side gate is built in traditional architectural style.


 

The ancestral house has an architecture of Chinese "Nhi" letter with 05 compartments.


 

The back hall has 5 compartments.



 

Currently, the ancestral house still preserves many valuable artifacts such as: incense altar, altar…

Every year, the Nguyen Ngo family celebrates its ancestors' death anniversary on the 28th day of the first lunar month to commemorate the merits of its ancestors. The Nguyen Ngo family's ancestral house is ranked as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic according to Decision No. 1626/QD-UBND dated December 21, 2012.
