Scientific conference on book “History of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee” (1926-2024) held
(BNP) - On December 26, the Provincial Party Committee organized a scientific conference on the book “History of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee” (1926-2024). Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, Head of the Steering Committee for editing, supplementing and republishing the book “History of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee” (1926-2024) chaired the conference.

Also attending the conference were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; former provincial leaders of different periods; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; members of the Steering Committee, Editorial Board; leaders of the Institute of Party History, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
With the spirit of respecting the history and tradition of the Party Committee and people in the province, Secretary Tuan hoped that the delegates attending the workshop would contribute their feedbacks to the draft in a frank, specific, objective and comprehensive manner so that the Editorial Board could continue to research, edit, supplement and perfect the draft.
After more than 1 month, the Editorial Board received 40 feedbacks on the draft. Among which, 100% of them agreed to publish the book “History of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee” (1926-2024) as a document to propagate and educate the tradition for cadres, party members and people in the province. They also agreed with the book title “History of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee” (1926-2024); the layout of the book, in addition to the Introduction, Foreword, Conclusion, Appendix; the book consists of 4 parts with 9 chapters.

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the layout, titles of each chapter, sections, and subsections in the draft. For the content, delegates suggested that the core content should be selected, the developments of events should be general, not spread out; sentences should be edited, data should be supplemented, updated, and the capacity of sections should be adjusted accordingly; quotes related to events should be accurate, consistent with historical milestones, especially clarifying the book’s continuity from 1926-2008.
In his concluding remarks, Secretary Tuan respectfully expressed his thanks and appreciation for the enthusiastic, responsible and objective feedbacks and contributions of the delegates. The Steering Committee and the Editorial Board of the book seriously and fully received the feedbacks and discussions of the delegates to continue researching and supplementing historical documents and events, thereby, serving as a basis for completing the book manuscript.
