Sign cooperation agreement in building e-government and smart city in Bac Ninh province

Provincial leaders attend and representatives from LienVietPostBank at the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee and the LienVietPostBank have discussed and agreed on contents of the cooperation agreement in building e-government and smart city of Bac Ninh province including six cooperative principles.

Under the agreement, LienVietPostBank pledged to support Bac Ninh province in speeding up the development of e-government and smart cities in accordance with the target of becoming a State-administered city by 2022.

The bank would provide electronic payment services, business services on the basis of digital data, digital banking, telecom infrastructure development and information technology, as well as IT applications for e-government and smart cities in the area.

Under the legal framework, the provincial People’s Committee pledged to create favorable conditions for LienVietPostBank to participate in programs and projects of the province to meet the needs of building e-government, smart city and electronic payment applications.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the signing of the cooperation agreement in building e-government and smart city.

In order to implement the cooperative agreement, the committee appointed the Department of Information and Communication as the focal point of the region. For LienVietPostBank, the focal point is the Digital Banking.
