Singing Quan Ho folk songs on boats themed "Bac Ninh is grateful to President Ho Chi Minh"

Provincial leaders encourage artists in the program.

The program is staged in two sections: The opening with the traditional instrument concert and singing Quan ho on boats. A wide range of sweet Quan ho songs and several songs with new lyrics but composed based on the ancient Quan ho’s melody were performed by artists of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs Theater such as: “Nhất quế nhị lan”, “Gọi đò”, “Chim khôn đỗ nóc nhà quan”, “Chuyến đò nên nghĩa”, “Nguyệt gác mái đình”, “Bác để tình thương cho chúng con”, “Trồng cây nhớ Bác”,...

Specifically, artist Thanh Quy (Quan Ho Folk songs Theater) with the performance of “Bắc Ninh nhớ mãi ơn Người” composed by Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong continues to affirm that guidelines of President Ho Chi Minh during his visits to Bac Ninh were forever remembered by Party Committee and people in the province and realized by many specific actions. In which, Bac Ninh has effectively implemented many projects, programs to preserve and promote the value of Heritage.

Along with Singing Quan Ho folks song on boats program, in the area of Ly Thai To King Statue, a variety of response activities were taken place including Dong Ngu water puppet show; Thematic exhibition "Truong Son - Legendary path" at the Provincial Museum; Displaying traditional village products; Advertising tours and travel services; Organizing street cultural activities: Exchanges of music, dance, folk games,..., attracting a great number of people and visitors to attend and enjoy.
