Some typical festivals in Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac homeland

(BNP) - Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac is known as the hometown of traditional festivals, with more than 500 festivals taking place in all seasons of the year, but spring is the most vibrant and dense. Traditional festivals are held in association with the customs and practices of each village and commune, creating an attractive rendezvous for domestic and international tourists.


Traditional festivals - Unique cultural features of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac.

- Dong Ky firecracker procession festival, taking place on January 4th, at Dong Ky quarter, Dong Ky ward, Tu Son city;

- Peony festival at Phat Tich pagoda, taking place on January 4th - 5th, in Phat Tich village, Phat Tich commune, Tien Du district;

- Huu Chap tug of war, taking place on January 4th, at Huu Chap area, Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city;

- Pig-chopping festival, taking place on January 6th, at Nem Thuong area, Khac Niem ward, Bac Ninh city;

- Lim Festival, taking place on January 12-14, in Lim town, Tien Du district;

- Ba Chua Kho temple festival, taking place on January 14-15, at Co Me area, Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh city;
