Standing Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai attends groundbreaking ceremony of housing for people with meritorious services in Thuan Thanh town
(BNP) - On December 2, Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended the groundbreaking ceremony and presented funding to support the construction of houses for people with meritorious services and those in difficult circumstances in Thuan Thanh town.

Standing Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai and leaders of Thuan Thanh town performed the groundbreaking ceremony and handed over VND 100 million in support to build a new house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Chu, born in 1942, a person who participated in the resistance war in Thuong Tri Lang village, Hoai Thuong commune and Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, born in 1969, a household in difficult circumstances in Dong Ngu village, Ngu Thai commune.
Khai affirmed that the policy of eliminating temporary and decaying houses is a meaningful and humane act of the Party and State, demonstrating a noble gesture, the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the spirit of mutual love, and not leaving anyone behind.
Thuan Thanh town has 46 households with meritorious people and those in difficult circumstances that are eligible for support to build new and repair houses. In this phase, Thuan Thanh town strives to complete and hand over 26 houses to meritorious people and who in difficult circumstances before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.
