The program of singing Quan họ on the boat in November with the theme of "Arrive in Thien Thai land"

The 75-minute program is performed by artists of the Quan ho Bac Ninh folk songs Theater, and is broadcast live on the Provincial Television and Radio Station.

Starting from 7.45 pm, opening section will be kicked off with the traditional instrument concert themed "Nét quê" (Homeland) and challenge-and-response singing between female singers (liền chị) challenging “Em là con gái Bắc Ninh” (I am a girl of Bac Ninh) and male singers (liền anh) responding “Tôi là con giai Bắc Ninh” (I am a boy of Bac Ninh).

From 8 pm to 9 pm, the artists of the Quan ho folk songs Theater will perform on the boats with a wide range of ancient songs including Nam nhi, Đôi bên bác mẹ cùng già, Thân lươn bao quản lấm đầu, Lý Thiên Thai, Trèo non lội suối, Ba sáu thứ chim, Gọi đò, Chia rẽ đôi nơi - Người ở đừng về…

In addition, there will be a number of cultural and artistic activities taken place such as the performance of Dong Ngu water puppetry; Displaying, introducing Quan họ costumes, items used in cultural activities of Quan họ; Introducing Xuan Lai bamboo paintings, Dong Ho folk paintings, Phu Lang pottery, a number of typical local specialties, and a wide range of street activities at the Ly Thai To monument and on the Nguyen Phi Y Lan road. At the Provincial Library and Provincial Museum will open, serve visitors with the exhibition of "Ngo Gia Tu – an outstanding communist."

The program of Quan ho folk songs singing on the boat in November aims to celebrate the 110^th birth anniversary of comrade Ngo Gia Tu (December 3^rd, 1908-2018) and the 36^th anniversary of Vietnam Teacher's Day (November 20^th, 1982-2018). It has contributed to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people and introducing the unique values of Quan ho folk songs of Bac Ninh to friends inside and outside the province.
