The provincial library serves nearly 7,000 readers
(BNP) - In the first 6 months of 2019, the Provincial Library issued and exchanged cards for 429 readers as well as circulated 35,321 turns of books, newspapers, magazines, to serve 6,906 turns of readers visiting, exploiting and using materials.
The Festival on “Books and Reading Culture” attracts a large number of students to visit and read books.
On the occasion of 10th anniversary of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Bac Ninh folksongs recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, the Provincial Library held a display of Books, Spring Ky Hoi newspaper with over 500 documents for the titles such as Praise the Glorious Party, the Great Uncle Ho; traditional customs and festivals of the nation in the Spring day as well as display the material for " Bac Ninh Quan Ho folksongs - Longevity and Diffusion ".
Besides, the Provincial Library released 06 monthly folders with 686 news articles, 02 thematic folders on "Quan Ho folk songs" and "Dien Bien Phu" with 350 articles; introduced 24 books on the Provincial Radio and Television Station with the aim to helpping readers have a habit in actively equipping knowledge from the library's books and newspapers, thereby, building a reading culture and contributing to honoring readers. In addition, there were many activities in the 8h Festival on “Books and Reading Culture”; participated in the Propaganda Festival to introduce the book "Celebration of the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7th, 1954 - 2019)" in Dien Bien province…
