Xuan Lai communal house

(BNP) – Xuan Lai communal house (Xuan Lai village, Xuan Lai commune, Gia Binh district) was built a long time ago and has undergone many restorations. The communal house worships Saint Tam Giang Uy Dich and monsignors Dung Do Thien and Hung Do Thien. After that, the people also worshiped Mrs. Dam Nuong, sister of Saint Tam Giang.

Currently, the communal house is located at the beginning of the village, facing the South, the front and the right are adjacent to the traffic road, the left side is adjacent to the residential area, the back side is adjacent to the pagoda. The communal house was rebuilt by local people on the old ground in 2018.


 

Xuan Lai communal house includes works: Nghi Mon, Dai Dinh, 2 rows of Dai Vu houses. In particular, the main communal house has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter, including the Dai Dinh and Hau Cung.

Main altar.

At present, the communal house still preserves many precious artifacts such as: thrones, statues, swords, sharp boxes, relics, altars, couplets (the above artifacts are dated to the Nguyen Dynasty). In addition, the communal house also preserves the system of ancient beer, incense bowls, and set of eight treasures.

The communal house has been classified as a provincial historical and cultural relic by the State in Decision No. 1048/QD – People's Committee, dated September 17, 2015.
