(BNP) - On December 31st, Van Mon commune organized the 1st Quan Ho Practice Club Festival in 2025.
The leaders of Van Mon commune present commemorative flags to the clubs participating in the festival.
The festival gathered 12 Quan Ho folk singing clubs from the commune, which are recognized by the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee. Each club sent one performing ensemble with three acts: solo singing, duet or trio singing, and group singing.
The themes of the performances included praising the glorious Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, the spirit of unity, revolutionary traditions, and love for the homeland, as well as introducing cultural aspects of Quan Ho folk singing associated with people's lives in labor and production. Each club's performance time should be limited to 25 minutes.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates for A, B, and C prizes, as well as other awards, to outstanding performances in each category. Additionally, first, second, and third place overall awards will be given to the units with the most outstanding achievements at the festival.
The Van Mon Commune's First Quan Ho Practice Club Festival in 2025 brings together male and female folk singers to exchange experiences and preserve Quan Ho folk singing traditions and values. Simultaneously, it aids in the identification and development of major personalities in the grassroots cultural and creative movement, as well as the recognition of collectives and individuals who have contributed significantly. This helps to preserve, conserve, and promote the intangible cultural heritage of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk singing.
