(BNP) - The National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization has just organized a program to honor 100 national exemplary voluntary blood donors in 2026. Among them, Bac Ninh province has 04 individuals honored.


Bac Ninh province's representatives honored as national exemplary voluntary blood donors in 2026.

The representatives of Bac Ninh province honorably praised include Mr. Nguyen Nhu Tan (born in 1991) in Dinh village, Dai Dong commune, an employee of Yuanheng Weighing Apparatus Co., Ltd., Dai Dong commune, with 100 times of blood donation; Mrs. Hoang Thi Chang (born in 1990) in Lan Tranh 1 village, Phuc Hoa commune, an accountant at Duong Duc Primary School, My Thai commune (72 times); Mr. Dang Van Tu (born in 1991) in Dau village, Tan Yen commune, a medical staff member at Tan Yen General Hospital, Tan Yen commune (60 times); Mrs. Tran Thi Linh (born in 1985) in Hong Son residential group, Tan An ward, a teacher at Quynh Son Kindergarten, Tan An ward (51 times).

In addition to actively participating in blood donation, these individuals have also actively propagated and mobilized their relatives, colleagues, and surrounding people to join in blood donation, contributing to spreading the noble gesture, humanistic spirit, and community responsibility.

This year's honoring program consists of many meaningful activities such as: The journey "To the Land of Ancestors", offering incense at the Hung Kings Temple, a ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho, offering incense at the Bac Son Monument to Heroic Martyrs, and the Ceremony to honor national exemplary voluntary blood donors in 2026.

The activity to honor national exemplary voluntary blood donors was organized for the first time in 2008. This year, the program responds to the message of the World Health Organization on World Blood Donor Day with the theme "Drop of human blood - Give blood, grant life".

The message aims to honor the noble gesture, humanistic spirit, and community responsibility of voluntary blood donors. Each unit of blood given not only contributes to saving patients' lives but also spreads humanistic values, sharing, and cohesion in society./.
