20th Bac Ninh Provincial Communist Party Congress opens

(BNP) - 20th Communist Party Congress of Bac Ninh province, term 2020 – 2025 officially opened on September 25th at Kinh Bac Culture Center with 315 participants representing for 58,143 members in the entire Provincial Party.

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security presented flowers for congratulation the Congress.

Distinguished guests to the Congress were General To Lam, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security; Former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nong Duc Manh; General Pham Van Tra, former member of the Politburo, former Minister of National Defense; Mr. Tran Van Tuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Working Party of National Assembly deputies, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission; members of the Central Executive Committee, former members of the Central Executive Committee; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and agencies; leaders of 1st Military Region; leaders and specialists of central agencies in charge of Bac Ninh and leaders of Bac Giang province.

Bac Ninh’s participants were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, key leaders of the province over the terms; revolutionary activists before 1945, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Heroes of People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes.

Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien informed the Congress that up to now, Bac Ninh has basically completed and exceeded the main targets set out in the Resolution of the 19th Bac Ninh Provincial Communist Party Congress with many socio-economic indicators at high ranks in the group of leading provinces/cities of the country. Affirming its growth pole in the capital region and the Northern Delta region, Bac Ninh is basically industrialized towards modernization and is on the way to become a centrally-run city with significant contribution to the country’s general development.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creation - Development", the Secretary asked for the responsibility, solidarity, intellectual concentration, democracy promotion, and discipline from each participant so as to successfully implement all programs set out by the Congress.
