21st session, People's Council of Tu Son city, term I, held
(BNP) - On the afternoon of December 17, the People's Council of Tu Son city, term I, period of 2021 - 2026, held its 21st session meeting (regular session at the end of 2024).

Attending the session meeting were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen-Sy, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; delegates of the Provincial People's Council in Tu Son city; leaders of relevant departments and sectors; former leaders of Tu Son city through the periods.
In 2024, Tu Son city has focused on implementing many synchronous solutions, including the yearly workingtheme and 04 political resolutions, contributing to the completion of socio-economic development goals and tasks in the area. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue in the city are estimated at more than VND 23,600 billion, an increase of 12.86% compared to 2023. The value of industrial products was estimated at VND 99,635 billion, an increase of 18.77% over the same period; State budget revenue was estimated at VND 3,425.8 billion, reaching 106.6% of the estimate. Public investment management, planning, urban management, natural resources - environment, administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, etc. are focused. The fields of education - training, health, culture, and ensuring social security are concerned. Security - national defense are maintained.
In addition to the achieved results, Tu Son city still has some difficulties and problems related to compensation and site clearance. Some localities continue to violate traffic safety corridor and urban orders. The settlement of complaints, denunciations, and petitions of citizens and the implementation of decisions and conclusions after inspection in some wards are still slow. Some officials are not focused on performing assigned tasks...
In 2025, Tu Son city will focus on effectively implementing the 2025 working theme and 5 political resolutions. In particular, focusing on supporting the development of industrial production, trade and services; accelerating the progress of upgrading and developing urban areas according to the general planning and zoning planning, towards completing the criteria of a type 1 urban area; paying attention to comprehensively developing cultural, educational and health values, ensuring social security, improving people's lives; maintaining security and defense, creating favorable conditions for local economic development.
Tu Son strives for a total industrial product value of VND 107,054 billion, an increase of 7.45% compared to 2024; retail sales of goods and service revenue to reach VND 26,300 billion; total state budget revenue in the area to reach VND 734 billion (excluding customs revenue and land use fees); the rate of public schools meeting level 2 standards to reach 83%; more than 85% of neighborhoods and more than 90% of families achieving cultural titles; introducing and creating new jobs for about 4,100 workers; completing 100% of the military recruitment targets assigned by the province...
At the session meeting, the representative from the Provincial People's Council Group in Tu Son City quickly informed the results of the 24th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
According to the program, the session meeting will take place over 2 days, December 17 and 28, to listen to and comment on reports on the socio-economic situation in 2024, goals and tasks in 2025; results of the City People's Council's activities in 2024, tasks in 2025; report on the proposed programs of the People's Council's session in 2025; report on the approval of the public investment capital plan, land use plan, budget estimate, environmental protection work in 2025 and some other important contents.
