8 artisans eligible for title of "People's Artisan", "Excellent Artisan" in field of handicrafts
(BNP) - The Department of Industry and Trade issued Document No. 1300/SCT-QLCN announcing the results of the selection of the list of "People's Artists", "Excellent Artisan in the field of handicrafts.
Dong Ho folk painting artist Nguyen Thi Oanh was selected for the title of People's Artist in this round.
On November 14, 2022, the Provincial Council held a meeting to select 10 sets of dossiers for the title of "People's Artisan", "Excellent Artisan" in field of handicrafts, of which, 04 dossiers among them for the title of "People's Artisan", 06 dossiers for the title of "Excellent Artisan" in 2022.
Specifically, 03 dossiers for the title of "People's Artisan" include Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh, Dong Khe village, Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Dong Ho folk painting artist; Mr. Nguyen Dang Che, Dong Khe village, Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Dong Ho folk painting artist; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Hoai Trung hamlet, Lien Bao commune, Tien Du district, artisan inlaid conch on wood.
05 dossiers for the title of "Excellent Artisan" include Mr. Vu Tien Thao, Ngoc Quan village, Lam Thao commune, Luong Tai district, sculptor embellishing, restoring and renewing spiritual and cultural works; Mr. Ngo Van Phap, Tuyen Ba village, Quang Phu commune, Luong Tai district, an artist carving patterns and wood products; Mr. Hoang Van Hung, Dai Bai village, Dai Bai commune, Gia Binh district, bronze craftsman in traditional handicrafts; Mr. Nguyen Dang Tam, Dong Khe village, Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Dong Ho folk painting artist; Mr. Dang Ngoc Quyet, Xuan Hoi village, Lac Ve commune, Tien Du district, bamboo knitting craftsman.
