Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship 2018 will be held in Bac Ninh
(BNP) - On May 14th, in Hanoi, Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank (LienVietPostBank) and Volleyball Federation of Vietnam had a press conference, chaired by Mr. Tran Duc Phan, Deputy General Director of General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, to announce the Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship in 2018.

Regarding delegates of Bac Ninh at the press conference, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leader of Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representative of LienVietPostBank, central and provincial press agencies.
For the purpose of creating exchange opportunities between national volleyball team and international teams, Vietnam Volleyball Federation in cooperation with LienVietPostBank will host the Asian Women's U19 Volleyball Championship 2018 on June 10-17 at Gymnasiums of Bac Ninh province and Bac Ninh University of Sports, Mr. Tran Duc Phan, Deputy Director General of General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Chairman of the Organizing Committee addressed at the meeting.
It is set to host 16 Asian young teams, including Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Iran, India, Macao (China), Hong Kong (China), New Zealand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

Head of organizers added, key matches of the tournament will be broadcasted by Vietnam VTVcab, a TV host of the tournament, to channels of the country and of several Asian countries.
In term of issues related to preparation of facilities for the championship, representative of Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, preparation for the tournament has been rapidly carried out so far. The province has set up a local Organization Board and focused carefully on material facilities, environmental hygiene, security, firefighting, health care, and places for accommodation and training for athletes, thereby ensuring the best conditions for them to achieve the highest results.
