Bac Ninh city holds group activity “Parenting for comprehensive child development”
(BNP) - On December 12, the group activity program “Parenting for comprehensive child development” was held in Thi Cau and Khuc Xuyen wards (Bac Ninh city). Leaders of the Women’s Union of Bac Ninh province and city attended the program.

Parents and caregivers of children aged 0-8 years old in project implementation units participated in activities with the following topics: Getting to know each other; parenting skills; health care, nutrition for children; intellectual development and playing with children; preventing child abuse; child safety.
With the message “No one is perfect, but I can be the best parent”, the orientation session helps parents improve their knowledge and skills, gain more inspiration and confidence to raise their children better.
These are activities within the project “Parenting for comprehensive child development” for the 2023-2025 period, under the Cooperation Program between the Vietnam Women’s Union, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam piloted in Bac Ninh, Ca Mau provinces and Hai Phong city.
In Bac Ninh city, the project has been implemented in 5 wards including: Vu Ninh, Thi Cau, Khuc Xuyen, Van An and Khac Niem. Up to now, the project has been implemented in 4 out of 8 districts, towns and cities in the province, including Gia Binh district, Luong Tai (2023), Bac Ninh city and Que Vo town (2024) with 396 groups, 8,200 parents and caregivers having children aged 0-8.
