Bac Ninh City Women's Union launches "Women workers group of boarding houses" model in Van Duong ward

The executive board of "Women workers group of boarding houses" of Lam Lang quarter is introduced at the ceremony.

Attending the program were leaders of the Women's Union of Bac Ninh province and city.

At the program, the representative of the Women's Union of Van Duong ward announced the Decision to establish the "Women workers group of boarding houses" in Lam Lang quarter. This is a voluntary organization of women officials and members residing in the quarter, operating on the principles of discussion, democracy, consensus, voluntariness, self-management, cooperation and mutual support.

The Group is responsible for propagating the legal guidelines and policies of the Party, the State, and the movements of the Union and localities as well as grasping the thoughts and aspirations of female workers in boarding houses to promptly encourage and connect female workers with women members in the area.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Bac Ninh city handed over operational funding support to the Group in Lam Lang quarter; presented 10 sets of traditional Ao Dai to 10 typical female workers participating in the model.

Immediately after the launching ceremony of the Group, a folk-dance exchange program with the theme "March Dance" took place. The program had the participation of 07 units, which are women's associations in Van Duong ward and Nam Son ward (Bac Ninh city).
