Bac Ninh committed to accompanying businesses for development

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang sent a letter to businesses in the province.

At the beginning of the letter, Chairwoman Giang said that in 2021, under the difficult conditions and the domestic and international challenges, especially the appearance of the Delta variant, Bac Ninh became the epidemic center of the whole country. However, thanks to the flexible measures, the province's socio-economic continued to achieve some important results. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 6.9%, the industrial production index increased by 9.67%; the export turnover increased by 14.9%. The Governance and Public Administration Performance Index ranked 4th, the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) remained in the top 10 best provinces.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairwoman thanked for the businesses’ efforts in actively promoting production as well as joining hands in the fight against of the Covid-19 outbreak according to the strategy of safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the pandemic.

In 2022, Bac Ninh business community continued to overcome difficulties and challenges. The economic growth reached 7.63% in the first quarter of 2022; the index of production, employment, import and export and budget revenue were quite positive.

Bac Ninh province is committed to improving the business environment, shortening the time and improving the quality of administrative procedures as well as implementing support programs in accordance with Resolution 11 of the Government.

The Chairwoman urged the businesses to timely feedback the obstacles and inadequacies in policies and harassment and troubles of officials and State agencies. All feedbacks and recommendations are confidential.
