Bac Ninh continues to affirm that the growth pole of the North region and the country

Bac Ninh continued to firmly affirm that it’s the growth pole of the North region and the whole country. The growth rate of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) was estimated to increase 10.6% in comparison with 2017, creating an important driving force for building Bac Ninh become a centrally-run city.

The growth rate of 3 sectors (industry, agriculture and services) has increased in comparison with 2017. Industrial production value reached VND 1.136 million billion, among which, foreign investment sector was estimated at VND 1.055 million billion with an increase of 12%. It is expected that the province has 89 out of 97 communes and 04 district-level units meeting and completing the program of building new-style rural areas.

Total export turnover was estimated at USD 66.12 billion with an increase of 6.6%. The State budget revenue reached VND 27,591 billion, exceeding 15.6% of the yearly estimate and increasing by 22.3%. Among which, domestic revenue attained VND 21,641 billion, exceeding 20.5% of the estimate and increasing by 30.9%.

The business investment environment and the administrative reform has been improved strengthened, connected, synchronized, publicized; 243/402 administrative procedures has been approved at the Provincial Public Administration Center.

The projects of infrastructure, urban, housing… were invested in a synchronous, modern and sustainable way towards the goal of making Bac Ninh province become a centrally-run city.

In 2019, the province strives for the growth rate of GRDP increases by 7-8%; the state budget revenue reaches VND 27,397 billion; the value of industrial production attains over VND 1.232 million trillion; total export and import turnovers fetches USD 62 billion and so on
