Bac Ninh earns 14 gold at 2023 National Championship of Young Freestyle and Classical Wrestling
(BNP) - The Bac Ninh earns 14 gold at 2023 National Championship of Young Freestyle and Classical Wrestling took place in Tuyen Quang province from May 29 to June 3.
Bac Ninh delegation ranks 3rd in the content of classical wrestling.
The competition drew over 400 athletes from 25 delegations of the provinces, cities, and industries across the country, who competed in classical and freestyle wrestling in two age groups, 14 to 15 years old and 16 - 17 years old.
16 athletes from Bac Ninh competed in the contents of men's freestyle wrestling, women's freestyle wrestling, and traditional wrestling.
Bac Ninh delegation finished the competition with four gold medals, four silver medals, and six bronze medals (ranking third in the entire classical wrestling squad). Nguyen Tung Duong, classical wrestling, 38kg class; Tran Manh Duong, classical wrestling, 45kg class; Tran Huy Hoang, classical wrestling, class 92kg; and Nguyen Mai Linh freestyle wrestling, 36kg class.
