Bac Ninh has 6 athletes participating in SEA Games 32
(BNP) – According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Bac Ninh has 6 athletes participating in the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.
Leaders of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism commended athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen at 31st SEA Games.
The 32nd SEA Games officially took place from May 5 to 17, in Cambodia. The Vietnamese sports delegation attended the 32nd SEA Games with 1,003 members, including 702 athletes, 189 coaches, and 10 experts. Athletes competed in 30 out of 36 sports (447 out of 583 contents), striving to win from 89 to 120 gold medals, standing in the top of participating countries.
On 32nd SEA Games, Bac Ninh sent 6 athletes to participate, including: Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Manh Cuong (Boxing); Nguyen The Huong, Nguyen Dinh Thai (Kickboxing); Bui Ky Su (Weightlifting) and Nguyen Duy Tuyen (Pencat Silat). These are all the leading faces of Bac Ninh sports at the moment.
Previously, athletes Nguyen Van Duong, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyen The Huong, Nguyen Duy Tuyen also participated in the 31st SEA Games. In addition to Nguyen Van Duong (not attending because of COVID-19 infection), all three athletes above were won a medal. In which, Nguyen Duy Tuyen and Nguyen The Huong won gold, and Nguyen Manh Cuong won bronze.
