Bac Ninh is one of provinces chosen to host SEA Games 31
(BNP) - Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism signed Decision No. 1968/QD-BVHTTDL on approving the Overall Plan for preparation and organization of the 31st SEA Games and 11th Para Games in 2021 in Vietnam.
Volleyball is one of competitions at the 31st SEA Games.
The 31st SEA Games will be held in late November and early December 2021 and last for about 17 days, while the 11th Para Games are scheduled for the end of December 2021 and will last about 11 days.
The 31st SEA Games will be held in Hanoi and some provinces and cities including Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc and Bac Giang.
The 11th Para Games will be held in Hanoi city.
SEA Games 31 will compete in 36 categories, while the 11th Para Games will compete in 11 categories.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment has been assigned to submit to competent authorities for consideration and decide the funding for repairing and upgrading a number of works in service of the two sports events such as My Dinh National Stadium and Water Sports Palace E My Dinh National Sport Complex, Shooting schools of Hanoi National Sports Training Center, and gymnasiums of Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.
