Bac Ninh organizes many activities to celebrate 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan

The display and promotion of Dong Ho folk paintings is one of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

According to the plan, it is expected that in the third quarter of 2023, the province will organize  "Mayor for peace" with the aim of promoting the image of Bac Ninh and strengthening the presence of Bac Ninh province abroad, thereby opening up local cooperation relationships, investment attraction, cultural exchanges... with international partners.

In September, a delegation of Bac Ninh province will visit and work with Japanese partners, perform Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk song, display and experience Dong Ho folk paintings in Japan to promote cultural exchange, cooperation, investment promotion, trade with Japanese partners.

From September to October 2023, the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association was established in Bac Ninh province to promote people-to-people diplomacy and strengthen the friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Bac Ninh city), Japan Week in Bac Ninh will take place with the following main activities: Conference "Meeting Bac Ninh - Japan"; Performance of Japanese Kimono and Vietnamese traditional costumes; Photo exhibition on relations between Vietnam - Japan, Bac Ninh - Japanese partners; Display of Bac Ninh and Japanese products. At the same time, the province will participate in the Festival "Kanagawa in Hanoi" to promote Dong Ho folk paintings and Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs to the international community.

In parallel with these activities, the province focuses on external information work, propaganda about the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan, achievements of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the cooperation relationship between Bac Ninh province and Japanese partners on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan and diplomatic events with Japan on mass media such as Bac Ninh Newspaper, Provincial Radio - Television Station, Provincial Portal...

The plan aims to practically celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, contributing to consolidating the strategic partnership, and enhancing the friendly and understanding cooperative relationship between Bac Ninh province and Japanese partners. At the same time, it also promote the image of Bac Ninh land, culture and people to Japanese partners and people as well as introduce Japanese land and culture to all classes of people in the province.
