Bac Ninh wins 6 medals at 5th National Kurash Championship
(BNP) - The 5th National Kurash Championship 2023 took place from June 4-7 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

More than 250 athletes from 20 different sports delegations from across the country competed in the tournament. Athletes competed in 19 weight classes for 19 medal sets.
Bac Ninh sent nine athletes to compete and won six medals, including one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals (ranking fifth out of 20 competing units). Nguyen Thi Trang, Gold medal, women's under 48kg; Nguyen Thi Nhan, Silver medal, women's under 45kg; Dao Chung Nguyen, Silver medal, women's 87kg upper class; Nguyen Thi Thom, Bronze medal, women's 78kg upper class; Nguyen Minh Hoan, Bronze medal, men's under 55kg.
This tournament is an opportunity for athletes to compete, exchange and learn experience in competition. This is also an opportunity for Kurash coaches to find many new faces to attend domestic and international tournaments in the future.
