Businesses supported to provide products and services for Samsung Complex

(BNP) – A scheme to improve capacity of supplying for Samsung Complex for Vietnamese enterprises in Bac Ninh was discussed at the conference chaired by Chairwoman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang on June 24.

According to the scheme, Bac Ninh will activate programs for period of 2020-2025 to improve competitiveness for Vietnamese enterprises in the province so that Samsung’s vendors level I and II will be increased by 20% and the share of the province’s suppliers in production value created by Samsung Complex will be increased at least 2%.

At the conference, departments, sectors and mass organizations looked into potentials as well as limitations of Vietnamese enterprises in the province who can join Samsung supply chains.

Chairwoman Nguyen Huong Giang assigned Department of Industry and Trade to collect all participants’ opinions to complete the Scheme as well as make an appropriate roadmap. She also asked the Department to work with potential businesses who wish to join the supply chain for Samsung Complex.

Provincial Industrial Zone Authority is responsible for holding a meeting to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Samsung Complex for supporting Vietnamese enterprises in the province. Department of Planning and Investment and Department of Finance advise on solutions and policies to support businesses according to current laws and provincial regulations. Department of Natural Resources and Environment assists people in settling procedures related to land accumulation, land lease for cultivation and production.
